Kristen Sikora
Kristen graduated from Ashland University in 2008 with majors in journalism and religion and a minor in Spanish. During her time as an undergrad, Kristen copy edited and wrote for the nationally recognized Collegian, AU's campus newspaper. Her writing has been honored with both local awards and national publication.
Kristen researched and wrote a 50+ page Honors Thesis her final semester of college. Entitled The Inherent Value of Animals and the Role of Man: The Christian Case Against Animal Experimentation, the paper allowed her to explore and argue an issue close to her heart.
Long before Kristen ever conducted an interview for an article, she was jotting down short stories and inventing fictional characters. She received a diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature where she focused on her creative writing skills.
Kristen loves trivia, over-achieving, words, animals and laughing. She is most happy when spending time with loved ones and can often be found getting wild with board games and movie nights. In her spare time, she entertains her geek side with books and video games. Kristen lives in the middle of nowhere next to vast cornfields, numerous cows and a handful of people.
